Assured Access

Assured Access pre-approves an individual or family for a personal health plan (with Medavie Blue Cross) if they lose existing group health coverage in the future. The degree of coverage available is based on today's health status.
Any health condition that a person may develop after purchasing Assured Access will be covered under a comprehensive Options Plus personal health plan when it is activated under policy terms. Assured Access clients can activate the Options Plus plan – which includes prescription drug benefits – whenever and no matter how many times they lose their group health coverage during the policy term. Once individuals qualify medically for the Assured Access plan, they don't have to worry about qualifying for health coverage over the period. Individuals must be age 55 or under and be permanent residents of Atlantic Canada.
Options / Options Plus
A Medavie Blue Cross Options or Options Plus personal health plan gives you access to comprehensive health coverage to meet your particular needs. These are one of the few plans available on the market with no overall maximum on drugs.
